Bringing the Community and Houseless together.

We would like to bring the community out to not only help the houseless community with supplies but to also speak with them. We would like to give the houseless community the opportunity to express how they feel as well. A lot of times our houseless individuals tend to feel as though we don't see them as Human and as if we don't care about them. We must always remember, no matter how bad someone's situation in life is or mistakes they may have made in the past or have not made. God created each and everyone last one of us as Humans and neither of us are better than the next. Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". We're not here to be perfect or to judge each other. I do believe we are here to Love each other as well as to be there for each other. To evolve together and help each other grow. This will also be the chance for the community to show that they do Love and Care about our houseless individuals as well in hopes it may bring many hope again, knowing that many still care and stand behind them. As well as, the chance to speak with the houseless about keeping things clean. We understand they are in a rough spot in life but that doesn't mean they shouldn't still care about the community. It's kind of rude when someone comes out to help bring food and all the trash is thrown on the ground. It's also unfair to the children of the community that also truthfully care about our houseless, to have to walk in a community with trash all over the ground. Not only that, at the parks as well. The Community/Houseless Meet and Greet is in hopes to strengthen the relationship between the Community and the Houseless in the community. We're also hoping to find a few houseless individuals that's been trying to make a change in their lives and help them on their journey to making a change. Hopefully we can encourage some members in the community to want to help some individuals on their journey to making a change as well.
